The Midland Hand Clinic provides comprehensive private expertise and advice for hand, wrist and elbow conditions. Appointments are available whether you have private medical insurance, or are choosing to pay for yourself. We see patients across the West Midlands including from Birmingham and Solihull to Warwick and Worcester.

Consultant hand, wrist and elbow consultant
I'm fellowship trained hand surgeon specialising in complex hand to elbow conditions. I have a specialist interest in soft tissue contractures such as Dupuytren’s disease, tendon problems, nerve compression, conditions around the elbow and wrist key hole surgery
My aim is to offer an individualised, multi-disciplinary service in the management of hand and wrist conditions. I work with hand therapists and give due consideration to both surgical and non-surgical options.

Mr Shyamalan specialises in hand and wrist surgery, with expertise in treatment for dupuytren's contracture, carpal tunnel, ganglions, cubital tunnel, trigger finger, upper limb fractures, arthritis work, joint replacement and wrist arthroscopy.
He is also highly skilled in elbow surgery, and treats tennis elbow, golfers elbow, elbow stiffness, instability and arthritis.
Mr Shyamalan aims to offer an individualised, expert service in the management of hand and wrist conditions, with due consideration given to both surgical and non-surgical options.
Many conditions can affect our hands and elbow, and our private hand, wrist and elbow clinic treats everyone including adults and children.
